I just finished my 5th and final essay of the week. Of the semester, (final essay of the semester, the total paper count would be around 10 or 11 I think. )
That's it. Everything is done.

Also, last night I was one of six recipients of a 1000$ scholarship given out by UIBE. The fact that a Chinese University gave money to international students is kind of a big deal, and a huge show of face for the university. Positive relations ensure that the program I'm in will remain here, and remain amazing, for years to come.
What is interesting is that because this is China (Zhe shi Zhongguo) it's not the typical scholarship you'd get in the states. We were handed pins, certificates, and an envelope containing...
10 one hundred dollar bills.

I was so uncomfortable walking around with that.
That is so much money.

Especially in China

Anyways I got it for "having an influence on China." Which is crazy. It was mainly cause of the volunteering I've been doing I think, and Dave said, for being, " a well-rounded student." Cool though huh? yeah.
